BMW Z4

The owner of this fine old BMW coupe had restored both his headlights quite a while before these photos were taken and he was very happy with his DIY efforts.

However, a recent accident that saw the nearside headlight being replaced then showed up the 18 year old (DIY restored) original so much he needed to address the issue to help balance the look of the vehicle.

I carried out a full restoration of the original offside headlight and polished/sealed the new nearside headlight as part of the service. The 18 year old headlight now looks some what newer and helps restore the vehicle’s good looks.

The owner was quoted £750 to supply a headlight to match the damage repaired nearside unit, needless to say he was happy with my restoration at a mere fraction of that price!

Citroen C3

Lovely little C3 brought back to life with a full exterior headlight restoration and a little more to boot!

The owner also had issues with water on the inside of the headlights so as part of my service I dried them out for him.

He was so very pleased stating he had never seen his headlights looking so sparkly in all the many years of ownership!

Fiat Doblo 2005

This very practical vehicle was purchased by the owner not too long before I carried out my restoration work. They took it along to their regular, local family run garage for a check up and MOT only to be warned their headlights might fail next time around.

They were advised to give me a call to see if I could help prevent this and also needed to ensure the lights were working as well as they could be due to using the vehicle for travelling long distances across Europe in the coming months

They were amazed at the transformation to their headlights and left feeling much more confident about using the vehicle for their upcoming travels now!

Honda Accord 2000

This vehicle was an MOT headlight failure for the last 3 years!

The owner of this trusty Honda Accord has been taking it to the same local garage for its MOT for the last few years since purchasing it. Every year it has failed for poor headlight beam and projection, causing extra cost and inconvenience to him every time!

Having failed the MOT the garage would then ensure it passed when re-tested by simply rubbing compound onto the headlights until they were deemed clear enough. To be honest this is common and acceptable practise “in the trade” and even for those looking to simply try and improve the general look and performance of their headlights, as was demonstrated by this Honda needing attention year after year!

The owner did mention the fact that the headlights had become progressively worse when driving at night over the years so was delighted to find out about my service for several reasons, not least that he was now finally contemplating buying some brand new headlights after years of just putting up with the situation…

I am super pleased to report he was even more delighted with the result of the restoration!

Honda CR-V

The owner of this particular CR-V bought the car nearly new 13 years ago. Like most CR-V owners they love the car. Around a year ago they restored the headlights themselves with a very good off the shelf DIY kit. Happy with the result of their work at the time, it didn’t take long before the headlights started to degrade again.

I am pleased to say they were over the moon with the results. Once again their night time visibility has been brought back to the max!
